Recognition of Excellence:

Nominations for HDI Awards are welcome now through November 1, 2024!  Now is the time to recognize your colleagues for outstanding performance!  These HDI Awards will be presented in 2025.  HDI Award categories include: Best Service and Support Analyst, Best Service and Support Technician, Best Service and Support Manager, and many others.  Anyone can nominate whomever they desire, there is no limit on the quantity of nominations, and

It was such a pleasure to present the Best Service and Support Analyst Award to Bob Shrader at Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) as well as to meet with several leaders of the awesome OCPS Team!


About our HDI Central Florida Chapter:

We are a lively community of accomplished and innovative I.T. Service and Support Professionals!  We enjoy the sharing of knowledge, relationships, and experiences.  We welcome all I.T. Service and Support Professionals, including management and front line practitioners, those whom are experienced as well as those that are new in their roles, and I.T. Industry Business Partners as well!

The HDI Central Florida Chapter is a nonprofit 501 (c) (6) networking group — FEI/EIN Number is 455350917 — devoted to the support community:  i.e.  I.T. Service Management Leadership, Service Desk Analysts, Desktop Support Technicians, Network Support Specialists, Program and Project Managers, Business Analysts, other practitioners, and Business Partners.  We meet at least four times a year. Meeting topics include educational sessions on industry best practices, training, case studies, technology innovation, round tables, and social networking events. We have a very experienced membership, many of whom are management level and decision makers representing many prestigious area employers.  Participation in our meetings has included Adventist Health System, Booz Allen Hamilton, Bright House Networks, Charles Schwab , CHEP, CNL, Comprehensive Health Services, Consulate Health Care, Convergys, Darden Restaurants, Duke Energy, Electronic Arts, Ernst & Young, Fidelity Information Services, Florida Hospital, Florida Virtual School, Gainesville Regional Utilities, Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, HD Supply, International Speedway Corporation, Lockheed Martin, Orange County, Orange County Public Schools, Orlando Health, PharMerica, Rollins College, SCI, Symantec, University of Central Florida, University of Florida, University of Florida Health, The Walt Disney Company, VyStar Credit Union, and many other prominent organizations.

As a nonprofit group, we depend heavily on donations from sponsors. We have a number of sponsorship opportunities, including annual sponsorships with significant and consistent exposure to our members.  HDI’s Central Florida Chapter provides many unique opportunities to share your organization’s brand and key messages.
